Is the abdomen rounded and smooth or sunken, wrinkled and leathery? A bird that is being fed by its parents should feel warm, fairly heavy for its size and have a rounded abdomen (food in its digestive tract).

Yes No Are the wings held tight to the body in a balanced way? Is it symmetrical? Does it use both legs equally?
